Payment services manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Payment Services Manager will oversee the provision of financial services to CIS families. They will provide excellent customer service, line manage the Payment Services Team, advise the Head of School on related matters, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with internal school procedures.

DUTIES
  • Establish clear workflows cash management, payment validation, follow-up regarding regular payments bank reconciliation increase administrative efficiency
  • Collaborate the Finance Team explore options further automation payment and parent self-service
  • Implement supervise transactional procedures systems (receipt, invoice, credit note, payment notice, account receivable bank statement)
  • Be for payment email account respond all questions a timely way
  • Handle cash transactions, including school fees, ECAs, lunch fees, uniform sales, school bus buggy payments, properly
  • Follow up accounts receivable CIS families
  • Control petty cash manage daily cash control ensure accuracy cash balance to avoid cash discrepancies
  • Submit daily cash report, monthly reports, the Finance Team comments
  • Control sales inventory submit monthly report the Finance Team
  • Control fixed assets joint fixed assets a timely report
  • Communicate families person by phone English Khmer
  • Develop standardized templates email communication families
  • Line manage Payment Services Team, providing support, coaching decisions needed
    Work cashiers identify appropriate development opportunities
  • Liaise the Finance Team Human Resources Team regarding tuition scholarships staff
  • Assist Head School all matters relating payments
  • Fulfill role promoting safeguarding welfare all students the school
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management or business administration preferred
  • At least 5 experience in payment preferred
  • Experience managing a team
  • Knowledge, Competencies and Attributes
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer skills
  • Proficient written spoken English and Khmer
  • Excellent time management skills and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative and able to work well colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • Works confidentially and with discretion
  • Able to compose correspondence independently
  • Maintains relationships with students, parents, staff, and the public
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability multitask
  • Attention to detail, proactive and flexible
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, internet use and email
