DUTIES

• Conduct project site analysis, case studies and design trend research
• Undertake architectural concept and schematic design for assigned projects,with the ability to produce preliminary design sketches, design drawings, 3D models, render images, design calculations, specifications, and other required design information
• Collaborate with Commercial/ Quantity Survey Team to produce feasibility studies
• Produce architectural design briefs, documents and reports
• Liaise with other design disciplines namely Urban Planning, C&S and MEP to ensure coherent and correct, as well as aesthetically pleasing design
• Make amendments to the design as required
• Undertake detailed design work on projects as required, and fully check to ensure designs are properly validated as per the approved design process
• Undertake quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self and that of other team members
• Produce authority submission drawings for Construction Permit approval
• Review of shop drawings, materials submission, mock-ups at project site
• Conduct periodic visits to the project site in order to determine if contractor’s work is being performed according to design intend, contract drawings and specifications
• Mentor subordinate
• Perform other duties assigned by Senior Management/ Design Manager/Architectural Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in architecture
• Minimum 5 years working experience in design company
• Proven experience on delivering a wide range of projects with varying sizes,complexities and industries
• Strong knowledge of building, construction details and relevant rules,regulations, and quality standards.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to liaise well with professionals from other disciplines
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer
• Proven ability to create strong architectural concept
• Excellent design skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – visual, verbal and written
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to present real world technical solutions to new design challenges
• Excellent time management
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray, Photoshop, Lumion,
  Microsoft Office
