Agency Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

To drive Fortune Life’s Agency Growth strategy and monthly sales targets through the recruitment of selected agents and sales leaders, motivation and leadership of sales teams, daily management of sales activity and continuous development of sales management team capability.

DUTIES
  • Monitor and manage the sales activity of Agency Leaders and Agents on a daily basis to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded.
  • Undertake regular 1:1’s, Joint Field work, Training and Coaching Sales Leaders and Agents
    Ensure recruitment activity always remains in line with the Agency Growth plan.
  • Quickly develop and deploy practical improvement measures when minimum performance, service, and /or persistency standards are not being met. These may be people or processes related.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to promote Fortune Life to customers, Agents and potential recruits.
  • Work with other relevant Fortune Life teams including Sales Training, Distribution Administration, and Operations, to ensure the very best level of service is provided to Fortune Life’s customers, agents, and corporate staff.
  • Actively involve in the delivery of practical, skills-based onboarding training and continuous professional development for sales leaders and agents by training, coaching, mentoring and developing the individual capability of all members of their Agency teams. Constantly seek to identify and develop new sales and distribution opportunities for Fortune Life, as well as ways in which the Company’s agents can positively differentiate from its competitors in Cambodia.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong track record in sales trainer ideally with a multinational insurer.
  • Deep understanding of the Cambodia life insurance market with a strong agency network.
  • Proven track record of building effective sales teams and developing sales capability.
  • Positive attitude and a cultural fit to our organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership with demonstrable sales management expertise, including mentoring and coaching.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic self-starter that is results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
