JOB DESCRIPTION

This job is responsible Overseas the operational activities of a business and ensures that the workforce is productive. Their duties include working with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensure that staff are all aware of operational best practices and implementing new technologies.

DUTIES

• Check and comply the operations to the requirement of NBC and other relevant authorities.
• Update the policy & procedures to improve the systematic and structure communication.
• Involve in training activities for staff capacity enhancements.
• Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
• Liaising with existing staff members, managers, supervisors, and clients to achieve set goals.
• Bring initiative from the team to enhance the credit quality, loan disbursement as well as IT initiatives to enhance the team productivities and improve speed to market.
• Involve in loan approval activities and guiding team to make proper credit decision.
• Oversee the credit operation including streamlining and optimizing the processes of the loan assessment to loan approval activities.
• Ensure productivity, efficiency, and compliance within the organization by formulating and driving operational excellence initiatives.
• Other tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or another related field; a Master’s degree is a strong plus
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Head of Operations or similar leadership role, project management, administration, and financial management.
• Experience in conducting/facilitating multi-stakeholder forums/workshops involving stakeholders such as key government agencies, the private sector, communities, etc.
• Good knowledge of the financial sector including data analytics and reporting
• Demonstrate solid leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of any industry-specific software
• Leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and retain staff.
• Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the competitive environment.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Project management skills and knowledge of methodologies such as Agile, Lean and Six Sigma
